Janne Ojajärvi (Master of Music SibA) is not just a musician; he is a sonic explorer. As a virtuoso of the harmonica and the willow flute, Janne bridges the gap between ancient traditions and contemporary soundscapes. His solo performance is a masterclass in versatility, blending raw acoustic textures with modern music technology to create a sound that is both hauntingly primal and refreshingly new.

In his solo project, Janne creates a rich, orchestral atmosphere entirely on his own. By combining a wide array of harmonicas, willow flutes, and the mouth harp with live looping and subtle electronics, he builds layers of rhythm and melody that pulse with life. From the deep, earthy tones of the bass harmonica to the ethereal, bird-like calls of the willow flute, every note tells a story.

With a background as an award-winning improviser and composer, Janne’s music is a seamless fusion of styles. You might hear the grit of the blues meeting the mystical echoes of archaic shepherd music, or beatboxing rhythms interwoven with traditional throat singing.
